This incident resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
